The rainy season is here, and you will notice plants, shrubs and vegetation growing and possibly taking over signage, streets and sidewalks.  Ultimately, they can cause sight-distance issues for traffic motorist, cyclists and pedestrians who might not be able to see blocked street signs.  The Traffic Engineering division of Engineering asks residents to please keep vegetation trimmed, especially at corners, signs and sidewalks.  Property owners are responsible for maintenance of their plants’ overgrowth.  Keeping traffic signs visible to all will help keep Clearwater a safe place to drive and walk about.
