Real Estate in Pinellas & Pasco

Florida’s summer sun and rain showers are a dynamic duo in fueling your property’s plant growth. As you maintain your lawns and landscapes, keep these yard waste disposal tips in mind:
– Uncontaminated leaves and grass clippings should be placed in a container.
– Brush and tree limbs should be cut into 4-foot lengths and bundled together. Place these items at your curb for pickup on your regular trash/recycling collection day.
– Do not include any construction debris, tires or gravel in yard wast collections.
Handling your yard waste in this way allows the city to recycle your unwanted materials. All collected yard waste is converted into weed-free mulch, which is then made available for free at the Solid Waste/Recycling Complex, 1701 N. Hercules Ave., and at the Moccasin Lake Environmental Education Center, 2750 Park Trail Lane.
